Kitsune Tarot: 6- The Lovers

The Lovers: Two foxes, winged to represent love being a force 'higher' than our own selves, complementary to each other, enjoy each other's company during twilight. Just under them is a crossroads in a river, indicating a moral or ethical crossroads might be near. The two foxes themselves represent the strongest force in the universe- the vibration of love, as they open and trust one another, forming a partnership and becoming intimate, each making a connection with the other. The Lovers can represent a decision you have to make and know where you are in relationship to it- which might mean, as the crossroads river indicates, flowing in a direction you're unused to, or even go a different way than others if that way's not for you. The Lovers show love and sexuality, but also morals and ethics- they challenge you to find out where you stand regarding a given set of circumstances or a situation.
